About Us

With over 30 years of experience in the beauty industry and cosmetology, Cecilia brings her wealth of expertise to her daily work. After earning her GED and completing Cosmetology School, she not only runs her own salon, The Academy by Studio18 Beauty and Hair Salon, but also imparts her knowledge through teaching cosmetology and hair coloring lessons.

As the first-time immigrant and eldest among six siblings, Cecilia's success story is inspiring. Beyond her thriving career, she passionately gives back to her community by providing scholarships to Downey High School students for advanced education tuition. Recognizing her outstanding contributions, Cecilia was honored as the Woman of the Year by Assembly member Cristina Garcia, representing the 58th assembly district.
